Kwame Brown will be joining the Charlotte Bobcats to reunited with Michael Jordan. He will sign a veteran contract of $1.3 million for a year. Brown will be given a chance again by Jordan to improve his game and to forget about the past. With this contract, Bobcats has nothing to lose because it’s a minimum. Currently the Bobcats need big men to control the middle.
Kwame Brown is one of the biggest bust in the NBA Draft so far. He was drafted nine years ago by Michael Jordan who was the president of basketball operations in the Washington Wizards. Brown was the first pick overall straight from highschool and the expectations of many was so high. However, he didn’t live so far in that expectation moving from one team to another.
Brown played with Jordan in his rookie year yet the manifestation of his ability and talent didn’t work well enough. In his career so far, journeys from the Wizards to the Lakers, his last team was the Pistons. Last season he averaged 3.3 points and 3.7 rebounds in 13.8 minutes a game. He can recreate himself if he will play better especially that Larry Brown will be his coach.
